Question 1

What is Sketch Book Tales?

Accepted Answer

Sketch Book Tales turns your child's pencil drawing into a personalized 10-page storybook. Your child's character stars in an original adventure with custom illustrations and read-aloud narration on every page, delivered as a downloadable PDF keepsake.

Question 2

How does Sketch Book Tales work?

Accepted Answer

Enter your child's name and age, pay $19.99 once, then upload a clear photo of their drawing. Sketch Book Tales creates the personalized storybook in a few minutes and emails you a private download link for the PDF.

Question 3

How long does it take to create the storybook?

Accepted Answer

Most storybooks are ready within a few minutes of uploading the drawing. You can watch the progress on screen, and we email you a download link as soon as it is finished.

Question 4

What do I get for $19.99?

Accepted Answer

A personalized 10-page storybook PDF featuring your child's name, age, and drawing-inspired character, with custom illustrations and read-aloud narration text on every page. You can download it anytime and print it at home.

Question 5

Can I buy the book and movie together?

Accepted Answer

Yes — at checkout you can choose the book + movie bundle for $44.99, which saves $10 versus buying them separately ($19.99 + $34.99 = $54.98). Your movie is queued automatically as soon as your book is ready. You can also buy the book alone and add the movie later for $34.99.

Question 6

What is the Sketch Book Tales Movie?

Accepted Answer

The Sketch Book Tales Movie is an optional $34.99 add-on to your $19.99 book: a 3 to 5 minute animated video of your child's storybook with motion and narration — a cinematic keepsake you can watch together and share with family.

Question 7

What ages is Sketch Book Tales best for?

Accepted Answer

Best for ages 2–10. You enter your child's age at checkout, and the story's words and adventure are written for that age.

Question 8

Can I get the story in Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose English or Spanish for the story language in the order form, and the storybook is written in that language.

Question 9

Is my child's drawing kept private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your child's drawing and storybook are stored privately and are only accessible through your personal download link. We never publish your child's artwork or share it publicly.

Question 10

Is my child's drawing used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

No. Your drawing is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) only to create your book. Under Google's paid API terms, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models. We never sell your information.

Question 11

What kind of drawing works best?

Accepted Answer

A clear, well-lit photo of a single character drawn in pencil, crayon, or marker on plain paper works best. Simple, bold drawings with a visible face give the best storybook results.
